"I`ve been thinking all day about the moon..."
This is how this little book begins, which is the result of a visual investigation of time, cycles, and flow (the feminine and the life changing).
It is an authoral book that accompanied a natural movement of change and migration.
In 2015 I crossed (like many) the Atlantic Ocean. I left my hometown, barren and far from the sea, and moved to a humid city, surrounded by river and sea. At the same time, it was a beginning of a path to rediscover and reframe a body that learned to function on its own in its natural cycle without synthetic hormones. There began a path of self-perception and self-knowledge.
This body surprised me when it brought me the first three natural menstruations at full moon. I was already thrilled with the sea, I kept photographing it each time my period came, as well as watching the moon and the tides.
Therefore it is a book that brings the result of this poetic - visual documentation. It marks a year of learning and the struggle for a consciousness that goes beyond of my body only. It extends to the whole of being part of nature on this planet earth.
After all, if we are 70% water and if the moon influences the tides, there is no way of thinking that there is no relation between all of us who inhabit here.
